     Hey, whats up. I am doing my research paper for English and world history on have hurricane Katrina treated New Orleans economy in a long term way.  I thought that it would be really cool to learn more about this, and see what has happened in New Orleans. I am  going over everything long term, but I am most interested in the people and visitors in and out of New Orleans. I have learned a lot about what the mayor has done to improve the area, what they used their money for, and where that money came from. So basically hurricane Katrina was affected by the decrease in jobs, population, tourism, and food , but they also lost some cash in their rebuilding and regained it from donations and created a plan for future hurricanes.

I am  going over everything long term, but I am most interested in the population and tourism in and out of New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina was affected by the decrease in jobs, population, tourism, and food , but they also lost money in their reconstruction of the city and regained currency  from donations and created a plan for future hurricanes.
